SUNGAYA INEXPECTATA [lowland]




I discovered the previously unknown male of that specie last June 2008 on the West coast of Luzon.


Here for the FIRST TIME EVER the picture of the said male !


Easy breeding , locally, on Mango, guava, schefflera and many others. In Europe easy on Bramble and oak.




Here below 3 beautiful female variations found at the same site, interesting the first one (white patched) was found in the deeper forest , the second one (black one) was found very close to the sea shore and the third one (yellow banded) in an area in the middle of the previous two !!
